Two old men sit in the park reminiscing.
Old Man #1
Remember we used to never lock our doors, what happened to those times?
Old Man #2
We all got robbed.

Nice one!
I think you could lose the "what happened to those times?" to make it a bit sharper. Could make a good runner.
Gav, this is so sharp, it's a little bit sexy. Great!

He still needs to ask the question. So maybe just - "What happened?"
I think he could say "Remember when we never had to lock our doors?" in a longing and admirable manner only to have it shattered by the others blunt honesty. Would add a bit mire dynamic rather than a one note feel.
Feedback taken onboard Ben I will give both a go see how it pans out. It maybe the case your correct and in performance yours is better always worth trying
Nostalgia could be right, is this not an old joke? Unless it just feels like it should have been said before. I dunno.
I not aware of it being done before. But it could of been. If find out lemme know!
Two old geezers sitting on a bench. One is reminiscing, the other died of boredom hours ago.
Nostalgia Isnt as good as it used to be

I always thought Nostalgia lived up to expectations, I would examine it's achievements more closely, but I left my glasses at a hotel in Telford. Shame they had a nice tint to them.

I thought this was ace. Think Old Man 1s line is better like this as the "what happened to those times?" bit of rose-tint gives the punch a greater impact.
