It's less common now, due to cost. There used to be non-transmittable pilots to allow for seeing who and what worked. Now pilots almost invariably have to be transmittable, though some aren't transmitted. I think that money spent on basic pilots, never to be seen outside the broadcaster's offices, would be money well spent.

I agree Micheal. Even staged ones like the Riverside used to do.

A question of semantics, in reality I thought it was f**king shit, in the interest of debate I referred to it as dire.

So my stance is not really silly, I do however have no problem with you seeing it as rash, as I like being rash, as I see it as being under used and under rated.
