Lyric Hammersmith Comedy night: Sunday 26th June

The Lyric Hammersmith are pleased to announce our June Sunday Comedy night line up as Pappy and Isy Suttie plus Surprise TV Star.

Sunday 26th June, 8pm at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre.

Pappy's (formerly Pappy Fun Club) is an English sketch-comedy team with comedians Ben Clark, Matthew Crosby and Tom Parry. Pappy's was established in July 2004 as a comedy collective, performing sketches, stand-up, character acts and music. In 2007, they were nominated for Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards, the following year they received a further nomination at the if.comedy awards. Pappy's are also regular contributors to BBC Switch with Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, performing sketches and appearing live.

Isy Suttie is most well known for playing Dobby in Channel 4's BAFTA award-winning sitcom Peep Show. Her further TV credits include ITV's Comedy Cuts, BBC 2's The Trouble With Love, Channel 4's The Incredible Will and Greg and 8 Out of 10 Cats. In 2008 Suttie was nominated for Best Female Newcomer at the British Comedy Awards for playing Dobby in Peep Show and she was again nominated in 2011. She was nominated for Funniest Woman in the 2010 Loaded Magazine Lafta Awards, which she won in 2011.
