"Ladies and Gentlemen"

I've just heard about this new sitcom created by the same people who created Peep Show. This new sitcom, Ladies and Gentlemen was aired last night after a recording of the new series of QI.

It was meantioned in the QI Talk blog that:

"After the recording tonight the audience were given the opportunity to stay in their seats and watch the first ever public screening of the new show from the 'Peep Show' writers and creators called 'Ladies and Gentlemen'. It was described as being a 'bit like Friends' but set in 1865 in olde London town!"

It looks like this is Modern Men, as mentioned in the Sitcoms in production section

(NB, for those of you worried about clicking on the QI link and finding QI spoilers, please not that the spoliers are written in WHITE text, and therefore can only be read by highlighting it.)

If it had Adam Buxton in then it sounds like Modern Men. I really want to see it.

I think I can safely say that the two shows are the same. I found a comment on another blog.

"When we all went in, we all got given a piece of paper saying that we should stay to watch what I presume was a pilot episode of a new sitcom called "Ladies and Gentlemen", set in Victorian times and starring Reece Shearsmith (of The League of Gentlemen fame), Darren Boyd (recently seen as Robert Webb's sidekick in the film Magicians) and Adam Buxton (one half of Adam and Joe)."

So, it looks like it's going ahead.

3 talented and funny actors, huzzah!

Arse! I wish I'd got tickets to last night's recording! :(
