Comedy Channel on YouTube

Heya guys,

My channel Victorious Sponge just posted a bit of a spoof of a JML advert and I wanted some comedic feedback from the people that know best,

and funnily enough the real JML company commented on our facebook page!
we called is JNL so there wouldn't be any issues, but they found our 'Like' page and commented under the video! just thought I'd share that with you, I thought it was quite funny! if you would like to have a look at that then it's: http://www.facebook.com/victorioussponge

anyways I'd really appreciate some feedback to make sure we're not completely on the wrong track!
we're students doing film production and we wanted to make comedy videos,
so a little push in the right direction or whatever from you lovely lot would be much appreciated!

IT's pretty good but for some reason it's not LOL funny. I think it drags on a little. From about 0:30 to 1:00 definitely seemed to drag but then you sort of needed that for the 'uses are literally endless so here's some more' gag.

Perhaps there is some way you can cut it down a bit - it did feel like some of those uses - in particular the second bunch - were perhaps from a different sketch.

Or perhaps it seems to drag because it is the same style all the way through. Maybe it would work better with a JML style advert followed by a sketch about someone forming his unnatural attachment to the thing?

Cheers dude, well the idea was, that we were selling something that actually had no use WHATSOEVER! and so the uses were things you could do with any random object, so we decided we would take it to the level of him eventually just going crazy with it and falling in love etc. hopefully taking it to the point where it's funny cos it's so stupid, there's a bunch of silly things on there, but probably the one I'm most proud of is this one:

so if you had another spare minute or two, could you perhaps give this one a bit of a mark?
those two are in my opinion the best we've done, so I'm hoping you'll like at least one!

means a lot to get a second opinion, because by the time you've written the thing, filmed and edited, one kind of ends up with no concept of what's even funny anymore!!
