My Family - Series 11 Page 8

I detested this week's episode, in comparrison with last week's it was horrible. Didn't get a single laugh from it this week, I was so disappointed.

For the first time this series I might even give it a repeat viewing on iPlayer

According to the overnight figures for this Friday My Family was beaten a fair bit by a repeat of Miranda.

My Family - 3.79 Million
Miranda - 4.11 Million

Some of Miranda's viewers will have been people watching My Family at 9:30pm in Scotland. We don't really know which show had the most viewers last night, it would have been very close.

The figure includes both viewings of My Family combined

It doesn't.

The 3.79m will be the number of people watching BBC1 throughout Britain between 21:00 and 21:30 and the 4.11m will be people watching BBC1 in Britian between 21:30 and 22:00. In Scotland, Holby City airs from 20:30 to 21:30 and My Family follows from 21:30 to 22:00. Miranda airs late night on Sundays or Mondays. BARB don't add Scotish viewers watching My Family at 21:30 to the main showing at 21:00 across most of Britain, instead they are counted towards Miranda's figure.

I still don't believe those figures. They're just estimates unless every TV set has a reader in it which also says how many people are looking at it at the time.

Basically yeah. Can't remember how many households are on the panel but it's something like 10-20,000 and then they work out an average from a population of 60 million hahahahahahaha

But if they're happy with it then so be it.

Official BARB rating for episode 7 now on.

1. Janey's Choice (17 June 2011) 4.37 Million
2. Labour Pains (1 July 2011) 4.42 Million
3. Accusin Susan (8 July) 3.62 Million (Overnight as did not make BARB top 30)
4. Germs of Endearment (15 July 2011) 3.81 Million
5. Harper Vs. Harper (22 July 2011) 4.13 Million
6. Relationship Happens (29 July 2011) 3.83 Million
7. Booked (5 August 2011) 4.01

I hope those 10-20,000 people are aware they ruin a lot of the good shows and kept things like Coming Of Age on TV for more then 1 season.

Yeah, them and the thousands of precise results from Sky, Virgin and iPlayer.

Hi Guys n Gals!!

Sorry to bother you all but my wife loves the outfit worn by Janey in the episode titled "A Decent Proposal" during the church/funeral scene. Any ideas where the show buy the clothes from or where I could get such info? I really want to buy it for my wife for our anniversary

Thanks!!

Wardrobe clothes tend to be from relatively cheap shops. Unfortunately for your wife, the episode was filmed somewhere between 18 and 24 months ago, so it's unlikely to still be around. You could try enquiring at the production company, DLT, but I suspect that'd be a black hole. If the episode's still on iPlayer, perhaps check for a wardrobe credit and see if the person is on Twitter, LinkedIn, or similar.

Failing all of the above, you could try writing to Daniela via her agent, Curtis Brown. http://www.curtisbrown.co.uk/daniela-denby-ashe/

What did she wear?
I am intrigued!

Her 8-minute showreel on that site contains no footage from My Family. I wonder why.
