COMIC: Tickets Page 2

The idea is that some people didn't get any whereas Mike got all he applied for and obviously it put his credit card in the red.

Liked it. Think it's pefectly obvious without explanation. And I'm not going to pick any holes in the spelling. ;)

Then I officially get it!

Alright, no need to rub it in. :(

Yeah, leave Little Miss Thicko alone!

I got that bit, it was purely the boxes that confused me a bit. Tickets come in envelopes.
Boxes does make sense, but there was still enough doubt that I started thinking there might be some other element that I'd missed.

Yeah!!

It's the volume of tickets he received. That's why they're in boxes. Also an envelope with half a dozen wouldn't be funny - would it?

He could have done a mountain of envelopes!

Anyway, there's no need to defend it, I've said I get it as it is. :)

Yes but it is useful to see where it falls down a bit. You get the idea in your head - you know the joke but if not everyone understands it needs brushing up so thanks.

No problem. Always happy to be the dumbo. ;)

Wasn't having a go at zooo at all. It was Leevil that I was infering was a doofus. ;)

Oh, well I'm on board with that.

I think the line in the last frame is either a little bit clunky or comes too quick.
I can't quite put my finger on it but I think it could start earlier with a frame or two inbetween to let the joke have a bit more space.

There's nothing much up with it as it is though, & It's a good joke & easy enough to get.

There is a lost frame, that I prefered.

I persuaded Gav to do this. Then I saw a similar Odd Streak cartoon in the Mail this week.

Wile E Coyote is sitting plotting at the drawing board surrounded by various Acme products.

His wife comes in and says "I don't suppose you know anything about why my credit card was refused."
