Nick Clegg has died and Griffy is needed to keep the coalition alive. The suits behind Paul McCartney's replacement in the 60's work their magic one more.
He's probably just had a row with the missus.

9,000 posts deleted manually does seem an awful lot of man hours. I wonder if he built some kind of self-deleting software? 
But why stop at 9000? Why not get rid of the lot? It does seem odd.

Even Griff couldn't write a script to delete posts from locked threads (without admin credentials).

Perhaps he plans to use the time he spent writing them as some sort of offset against his tax liability for his comedy output?
Alive and well or he was in the last week or so as he's got stuff on the next run of News Revue.
Can someone fill me in on this. Griff's stopped posting but has also deleted all (or most) of his posts?
