I may be getting Old.
But have Hairstyles gone a bit weird these days

Surely you remember:

I've just started using gel on my hair after years of a matte clay product. The gel doesn't seem to clump together as my hair gets a little longer.

You sound like my mum, whom I have to drag, kicking and screaming, to the hairdresser! People do seem to develop an aversion to hairdressers but they do make your hair look nicer.

I often wonder, when looking at 70's sitcoms, how anyone got laid? All that static on nylon sheets, you were like a fire hazard waiting to happen.

NOBODY will drag me to a hairdressers - they'd want to cut my hair and give me one of those bland, short, permed middle-aged/elderly styles which I so despise and which everybody over the age of 50 seems to have.

Was 70's big hair? I can't remember. I didn't ever have big hair.

1990s hair was funny.

Most black boys had the flat top or wonky Bobby Brown hair...

And all the others had curtains, like this dickhead...

I remember laughing at a guy's hair in a pub in Beckenham in 1996. Two years later I had the same haircut.

I bet it was 'the Paul Weller'.

What, like this fool? Credit me with some taste.

I had curtains in the late 1990s. I thought I looked so cool.

I've got a few pics on my PC of my various hairstyles I could show you......I'll upload them if you really want?

I had my haircut/styled a few weeks back (it cost me £35) and it already looks shite. I'm now gonna just shave it off and have a number 4 all over until I decide what to do with it.

Do it.

Ok........don't say I didn't warn you.

I think this is one of the worst hairstyles ever. Especially on fat chavvy girls.

Nicer, yes, if by 'nice' you mean 'gay'.

Also much favoured by Japanese boy bands.

I'm going to the hairdressers next Thursday. I'm terrified.

I'm seriously thinking of having the style that Joey Barton currently has....
