Mock The Week - Series 10 Page 4

Just watched a repeat on Dave and they all seemed to tell very similar jokes in exactly the same way, just with slightly different voices. You'd think they'd try to differentiate themselves.

The news stories change though don't they? Which comedians have changed their voice? There are some impressionists, but they're still on there now.

As opposed to last week I think that "token woman" this week was pretty awful this week, both the jokes and deliverly were poor in my opinion.

The BT guy had some good jokes but was largely disappointing.

Andy parsons is always awful.

I used to really like Hugh Dennis but he is beginning to grate on me quite a bit.

Milton Jones was his usual self; he should stop doing this show and get more full stand-up routines (Apollo etc).

Micky Flanagan wasn't as noticable as usual which is a shame because although I don't find him that good, anything is better that token woman and Andy Parsons.

Zoe Lyons. Been around on TV for at least 6 years.

I thought it was a bit of a weak episode this week; even Milton didn't have quite the usual high hit-rate.

Wow, Leevil - you let Aaron off lightly there! :O

I have seen her before somewhere, my point was not that she was new, but that she was rubbish.

Ah, fair dos.

Was D o'B really bollocking Mickey Flannigan about his Nigerian impression? Rolling eyes

And then Mickey Flannigan did the 'Come on Glastonbury, you all know this one' gag I first heard on one of Lee Mack's videos.

And currently at the centre of a plagiarism row.

Oh, the irony...

Yeah, that was a bizarre decision on Mickey's part.
Presumably he both didn't realise it was Lee's and managed to miss the whole plagiariam case. Which is a bit odd.

I hate the way Micky Flanagan keeps turning round to the studio audience when he's telling his 'jokes', doesn't he realise there are cameras?

I enjoyed Seann Walsh last week, and have caught him on a couple of other shows recently, one to watch I reckon.

I'm constantly shocked by the poor quality of material that comes out of the acronym round, given they actually get to see the stuff in advance.

DARA: So, we have a picture of David Cameron, but what do the initials C D L T stand for?

HUGH: Um... is it Carpet Dorothy Lemon Twat?

AUDIENCE: [laughter]

Really?

The round should be called "Can you think of four words that start with these letters, end with a swearword, and have no satirical value whatsoever?"
