Lucy Porter

Just out of interest are there any Lucy Porter fans on here? I remember seeing her on Never Mind The Buzzcocks years ago when Mark Lamar was still hosting and thinking to myself that she was really funny. She was deceptive in that she appeared very sweet and innocent and then she'd burst out with quite an edgy joke and take you by surprise. I see her on Mock the Week and Argumental from time to time but I'm surprised she hasn't done her own DVD yet.

Any fans, thoughts or opinions out there?

I've seen her a number of times doing warm-up at TV recordings, and she's always been very funny indeed.

I like her a lot, seen her live and she's very lovely.

I'd love to see her live. I do visit her site occasionally (useally right after she's finished touring) ( . That's great news about her DVD. Thanks for the quick responses guys.

On tour at the moment/soon. Hits my neck of the woods 17th June. Magners Funhouse Comedy but that is all I have apart from the local info.

I've always enjoyed Lucy Porter's stand-up as well, although she repeats a lot of her best gags a bit too often.

Very sexy too, I bet other women hate her.

I don't know anyone who hates her- she's extremely affable. Makes me laugh every time I see her.

Like a lot of stand up acts, I find her likeable, but she doesn't make me laugh.
