Not necessarily, Jamey. It's criminal to drop a cig in the street, but that wouldn't make you hard.

But dropping a cigarette on the street isn't usually what comes to peoples minds when you go on a comedy show and sincerely state that your dad was a crinimal.

Besides most of Mickey's stand up is about the hardness of the area he was brought up in.

I'm not saying that he is bragging about being hard, just that it is his onstage character, just like Micheal McIntyre dosent acctually want people to believe he skips everwhere with his hair flopping about.

Going back to Ricky Grover, did you know that he was a Boxer and a Hairdresser, and that he was illiterate until he was in his early 30s?

Only the middle one is remotely surprising.

Pete Waterman was also illiterate until his early 30s.

And tone deaf
