Worst sitcom Page 7

Getting On is shit a awful sitcom.

Miranda such stupid. How can you watch it

Miranda is the prime example of a star given too much leeway in their own show. Screeching in a high pitched voice is not humour unless you're saying something funny (all the women in the show). Check out how much better Miranda is in Not Going Out, where she's much more funny.

I'm a third year student doing a dissertation on American and British Comedy.

I have a simple 4 question survey about The Inbetweeners and why the US remake was such a fail.

If anyone has a spare 5 minutes to fill this out then that would be great, thank you!

Wondering where Rhona Cameron's Seinfeld-wannabe Rhona would fit in?

Oh my life....I'd forgotten about Rhona. A classic-much better than Seinfeld and much bigger in the States I'm sure.

Mrs Brown's Boys is quite easily one of the worst sitcoms ever made. It's not quite as bad as 2 Pints though...

Oh Two Pints of lager and a packet of shite, I hated that.

And Mrs. Brown's Boys, is pretty rubbish.

But I love Saxondale.

Seconded. I don't understand why Saxondale has even been mentioned in this thread. It's far cleverer, wittier, better acted and funnier than most sitcoms over the last ten years. I find myself re-watching it from time to time. Great dialogue in that show.

The original trailers made me think for a moment that Jo Brand was doing a hospital documentary. Acting is not her forte, or even her fifte.

The worst sit-com must be the proposed remake of Porridge. James Corden and Peter Kay???
Utter rubbish!
