Isn't that thingy? Page 5

David Or Davina Amy Winehouse in The Fast Show 15 Storeys High - Clive He was good in Spaced too!

A few months ago I watched the Open All Hours pilot starring Yootha Joyce (George & Mildred) and a teenage Keith Chegwin!

Keith Chegwin was in the movie version of Macbeth

Peter Heppelthwaite, who played Jed in The Green Green Grass, was in an episode of One Foot In The Grave in 1992 as a workman. Gee, he looks kompletrly diphrent.

Lesley Nicol (Mrs Patmore in Downton) was Mrs Pants in Blackadder II.

("What about the privies?" and so on)

That new 'Give an Hour' promo from the BBC that keeps popping up in between programmes and urging you to get an old biddy online. Oh you know. Anyway, well the bloke 'from number three' who the singer's mum is now video conferencing with is none other than Tony Millan, veteran of many many Alexei Sayle things. Watching Mr Bean, I'm positive Richard Wilson was his dentist.

He is indeed. :)

I am highly skilled at spotting elderly comedy stars in adverts, this Specsavers one is from a few years back but features Carry On supporting stalwart Hugh Futcher:

'You were the same when you couldn't remember the name of that bit player in Wagon Train the other night.'

Ross Kemp appeared in an early episode of Birds Of A Feather.

My mum reckons he was less hunky back then though!

Not to mention the fabulous Fruit 'N' Fibre ads .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bsApDcW1ng

Angus Deayton was in a cereal ad too - was that Fruit and Fibre as well?

I believe it was!

I still sometimes have that bloody Grant Mitchell song going through my head when I walk down the cereal aisle. Annoying.
