No was kidding about the graphic novel. Maybe it is not a bad idea though!
Very screenplayish/storyboard graphic novels!

I suppose as a writer I think

"Grr why are there no open subs to let the world experience my genius!"

As a listener I think

"Grrr why am I paying for yet more hackneyed rubbish from neonate writers!"

I think Griff is probably right - but it is the rise of the media school approach that has probably hurt most.

Goodness knows but I have seen ads for them in the Guardian. Catch me going to a media college or film school. Actually... hang on a min. But anyway that was different!

What did you study at University? And which one did you go to, Marc?

I did Reading at Reading. And Film Making at Bournemouth Uni.

Industry contacts presumably. People attached to the faculty who've been there and done it. Bunch of them at my current place of emplyment. But does it really become anything substantial or long term? What is the track record on alumni for any uni?
