Analogies and Metaphors

A big part of the Blackadder humour was based on analogy and metaphor, an example of which would be, "This is the stickiest situation since Sticky the Stick insect got caught on a sticky bun."

Here are a few others that have made me smile:

- The plan was simple, like my brother-in-law Phil. But unlike Phil, this plan just might work.
- She grew on him like she was a colony of E. coli and he was room-temperature Canadian beef
- Her vocabulary was as bad as, like, whatever.
