What makes life any better but a good chortle? Money perhaps. Happiness most certainly. But without these, a laugh once in a while is a decent stand-in. Whether or not it is a road to both remains a mystery. I wouldn't know. I got tired of walking and went off into the grass. It's a nice spot with a good amount of shade. I may even build a house. So stop on by sometime and we can talk about my book "The Lost Art, If You Will: 3 Short Pieces" now available on Kindle. Three essays on rope, slouching and not getting where you mean to, perfect for the little moments in life when you stop to smell the roses and find you'd rather be somewhere else instead. (Oh, and thank you again, Tom Wingfield.)
