Ok first of all everything is potentially funny. Or else we stop being comedy writers and become something else. Choruses of approval something like that.
Secondly Ok as comedy goes these 2 are duffers. Sometimes the shit sticks to the walls and sometimes it sticks to your shoes.
In this case I'm not really joking about domestic violence. More I'm going for the sheen of false respectability drinks advertising they try and paste on rather unpleasant products and binge drinking.
In that it would appear I failed. Sometimes the off coloured joke is to off colour to have any chance.
So my question is do I leave the offending sketch up or delete it? (I hate self censorship)
It's up to you. But I don't find them offensive or anything. Just not a fan of this type of humour. It's purely a personal taste thing for me.
