Oh! So that's what that song was about. Page 5

I wonder if All Saints knew that when they murdered Under The bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers - it's about heroin addiction

Read an article years ago with lead singer saying 'we wouldn't have covered it if we knew'. I mean, I know they weren't the creative brains of the set-up, but wouldn't you bother to find out about a song's meaning before you put your name to it?

Oh dear, aren't we cool and edgy writing a song about how great heroin is.

(Unless they're saying it's stupid, in which case, fair enough.)

I doubt they think it's cool as they've lost two (maybe three) guitarists to it.

Oh. Woops.

Oh the Chilli Peppers? I wrote that before they got mentioned. SO NO MAKING ME FEEL BAD.

Unless these idiot dumb f**ks are writing about their experience at the time. What fools!

Bastards!

Yeah, true.

But, George married Pattie Boyd....... Lovey

Image

Too beautiful.....

And to answer an earlier question she is what Wonderful Tonight is about, the third classic love song written about her (Something and Layla since you ask).

As far as I know that's three more than Patsy Kensit had written about her by her rock star lovers.

Heroin and The Needle and the damage done.

Are both about the same Kent garden centre.

Lou Reed was going to sue Neil Young until he realised they had visited the same garden centre and shotup heroin in the disabled toilets in the same week in 1981.

They laughed it off.

"Bridge Over Troubled Water", by Simon and Garfunkel.

"Golden Brown", by The Stranglers.

"There She Goes", by The Las.

"Perfect Day", by Lou Reed.

All alleged to be about heroin.

Yeah, and Rockin' All Over The World by the Quo was about the Moon landings . . Rolling eyes

I'm suprised nobody's mentioned "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors.

Indeed, 10cc should have covered it considering the meaning of the song and the meaning of 10cc's band name.

Not to mention the 'scissor sisters'

Someone told me what that meant - eeew
