Flight Of The Conchords Page 14

Watched the first episode on YouTube and have to say it is very funny. Murray especially is on top form.

The songs are not as good though although maybe they just need time to grow on you.

I thought the new episode was a bit crap. Very samey. I'm starting to think they should have left it at one season but we'll see.

I did like the new episode, but it felt like the songs were written specifically for the show rather than just being dropped in randomly. It was a bit too forced, though still very funny.

I thought they were written especially for the show. The first season they already had the songs and had to write the show around them. And this series they wrote them both at the same time. It's no wonder it's different! I haven't seen any of the new series yet. I'm looking forward to it though.

Anybody have any idea when the new series is due over on these shores?

What does the future hold for Kristen Schaal?

Well, this just came up recently, but me and my friend Kurt Braunohler made this web series called Penelope: Princess of Pets, and it looks like we're going to turn it into a pilot for Channel 4 in London. So yeah: this year, it's going to be me trying to figure out how to make a pilot in London.

I was watching that on SuperDeluxe before they pulled the site. She previewed an episode at the 100 Club when she visited with David Cross. Is it available anywhere else? What was your role on it?

I was watching the pilot for Mad Men last night when Kristen showed up. She gets about that one.

I only just realised they were doing a second series.
Can I see the first episode on YouTube ?

I think it is on MySpace, or something. However if you can wait a few weeks I'll be on BBC Four, as they have the rights to the second series.

I think this season is actually more consistently funny than the first season.

Not too high an achievement though, Curt.

Yea I think the show has a lot more potential than they are currently producing.

B-R-A-H-B-R-A-H.
