I think you probably introduced personal assumptions at a guess, I'd have to read through, I think it's okay to discuss the issues raised.

Quote: Tim Walker @ April 29 2011, 11:07 AM BSTYou made a couple of contentious statements which people have taken issue with, that's all. I wouldn't take any of it personally.
I don't take things personally. I just didn't appreciate the slight being masqueraded as a compliment. As a matter of principle really.
Far from it for me to be the slinger of sh**, or playground defendant, but this whole forum is bred of contention. My comments pale in comparison to some of the things I read here haha.

I wasn't actually asking for an assessment (I feel like I'm in the head teacher's office) like I said, I don't mind a good debate (I don't believe anything I've said has been problematic, if it had been, I wouldn't have said it) but I don't like personal insults being masqueraded as faux compliment. It's just unpleasant.

Petzal Logic?
Hang on you've added more

That is true Sophie so take it on the chin

What? Ok, maybe I should re-phrase, that wasn't me with a disney-esque moment discovering the error of my ways hah! It was simply the comment "hope they don't ask too many questions" I was querying! All else is fine and dandy. I know how to fight my corner (and when doing so is utterly pointless). That's never been a problem for me. My chin has many large bruises.
Bread of contention mmmmmmmmmm

Urgh, I hate edits...I have no idea if what I said is appropriate anymore. In the terms of my peers: "whatever". haha
I think there is a fundamentalist approach to these shows that are evident in their own assessment of themselves on their application guidelines - that makes it hard for people who wish to work on them to criticise any aspect of them. This is not healthy. It will doom the BBC

Might I reccomend asking your customers to hold their own testicles when you get down to business.
It works for me!

With your mastery of the double-entendre you should really consider taking up an appropriate career! Like auditing!

It's terminal.
I'm delighted to see this thread rehabiliating traditional BCG mean spiritdness, envy, smut, harrasment and bullying.
It's been too nice around here for far to long.
Doomed.

It's why I usually stay away. Ventured back for a bit. Misguided.
