A local AM DRAM producer has shown some interest in my sit-com
Hippodrome Heights. But needs it to be stage formatted.
I know how to stage format, but it is so laborious, does anybody
know any short cuts?

The free sample template of my Scriptwriters Toolkit is in a stage format, which you are welcome to use.Windows only no Apple Mac versions.
However, there is still no really really easy way to flick between these formats if you typed it on something else.
The script has to be transferred one dialogue at a time by cut/paste. Tedious but possible. As an exercise I did it for the whole of one of Shakespeare's plays.

The procedure is detailed here: http://www.datahighways.net/support/topic.asp?topic_id=160&forum_id=25
Despite notes which say it only works on Office XP, Word 2003 you might see elsewhere on my websites, the toolkit does work on Office 2007 and Office 2010, but it requires slightly different installation and I have not yet produced a tutorial on how to do that. If you want to use it I can probably talk you through it on the phone.
Three video tutorials for the toolkit are mentioned in this topic: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/20415/
Thanks billwill. I agree, there seems to be no easy way. I've looked at lots of stuff on the internet but no real joy. So I've decided to plod on, but thanks again.
