Went on the first HE march last year. They aren't listening. They won't listen because the line is the cuts are nothing to do with them. It's all Gordon Brown's fault. (Nearly a direct quote from Francis Maude on R5 this morning.)The only point at which they will take heed is when they lose an election and given the gerrymandering proposed under the Bill currently going through Parliament may not be for some time.
True; if the boundary changes go through and the referendum rejects AV, which as a popularity vote on the LibDems it probably will, then we will have majority Tory government for the foreseeable future - and if you think this Coalition is right wing, you have seen nothing yet.
