Oddly, I have work in IT for many years and never once thought that it was a good setting for a sitcom. The program itself kind of proves this as 99% of it has nothing to do directly with IT and would easily transpose, more or less, to most other departments within an organization.

I agree. After this little incident I decided to buy the box set of The IT Crowd and you are quite right, very little indeed is to do with IT. But I guess it could be argued that a number of sitcoms have very little to do with the premise or setting, but this acts as simply the backdrop for the characters to play out their story. So I concur that much of The IT Crowd's plots could easily transpose to most other departments.

This is excellent. Some really funny moments and some great lines. Have you written a full episode?

Excellent work.

Bo.

Very kind of you to say so, Bohannon. Thanks.

I did, in a moment of unjustifiable optimism, start to write the second part. It's pretty rough and ready but I might stick it up for a laugh.

I'll look forward to it.

Bo.

Enjoyed that. Good stuff.

As everyone else has said, really good stuff. Dialogue and rhythm are excellent. it feels a bit plot light even for 15 mins, but otherwise excellent.
