Condolences to you both. Loss is hard to bear, particularly when you are unwell yourself. Keep sharing, it does help.

Def - just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear that. Thinking about you.

My condolences to both Def and OldRocker. As Chipolata said back on the first page, losing a grandparent is hard enough, I can't imagine losing my parents.

I hope you both feel better soon, and hold up well. Spend plenty of time with friends and family, and even though I'm new here, I can safely say all here are good to speak to as well.

So sorry to hear about your loss Def. I've been thinking about my mum this week as it was Mothers' Day two years ago that she was taken ill and we lost her a short time afterwards.

Nothing I can say can really make it any easier but you just have to take your time and get through it at your own pace. It will get easier but for now remember the good times and why your mum was special to you.

Condolences Def. The only advice I can really give is always find time to have a good cry, if you feel the need. Bottling it up is the worst thing you can do.
