Bad BBC sitcoms from the late '80s? Page 2

She is an aquired taste definitley. And though I hated Bread, I liked her more philisophical or wispy sitcoms, like this one. I think because they are fairly unique and give a depth to sitcoms you rarely see, while still being sitcoms.

Two series, Yes I'm beginning to remember more than I thought I did of it. I might YouTube it now, actually.

Does The River feature David Essex as a Romany in a neckerchief?

Ah, I do remember that one actually. Was it supposed to be a comedy then?

Can I just throw A Small Problem into the mix? Pretty poor but a cool theme song.

I liked that one as well. I should stay away from this topic.

Never heard of Wyatt's Watchdogs but it looks a promising premise and never seen Trevor Bannister in a non-Mr Lucas role. Does The River feature David Essex as a Romany in a neckerchief?

Wyatt's Watchdogs was a vehicle for Brian Wilde in between his two Summer Wine stints. Glad it bombed or he wouldn't have returned to Summer Wine

This was the first main sitcom for Christopher Ryan after The Young Ones if my memory serves. I recall it being a bit odd. However, I would love to see this again, but due to the un pc nature of it's content I doubt if it will ever be released.

Def.
