Well I just caught the first highlight show and feel like I've been cheated, they've allowed 10 minutes for each show by the looks of things.
Somehow they've got to fit 24 hours into less than 150 minutes. It means for some brutal edits (highlighted by Jon Richardson on 8 Out Of 10 Cats saying they'd been talking about famous Davids for 20 minutes, when we'd only seen about 2 minutes).
It's interesting from a production study point of view how they've spliced it all together, even cutting bits out of the rounds we did get to see, but why the highlights programmes couldn't have been an hour long I don't know.

It's especially gutting since I had no idea it was going on until it came on after Being Human tonight.
Never miss a thing again

With any luck they'll release it all on DVD uncut with all of the footage intact rather than just the edited versions. I know I'd pay the money gladly to be able to see this.
A DVD would be good - particularly as some of the funniest bits were between rounds. Blankety Blank was from start to finish a rather amusing mess (O'Grady forgetting the rules etc), it'll be interesting to see what they show from that one.
