Benidorm - Series 4 Page 3

Yes, I love Perfect World.

Ok, let's just be honest... Series 4 is utter rubbish. It doesn't even seem like the same writer. Did he hit the bottle or something?

It stinks of a writer who can't be arsed. Maybe he thought that since it would be the last series he'd 'have fun with it'.

Let's not beat around the bush, it's shite! Anyone who defends it has been to too many panto's, and the writer should be ashamed. The remaining 'known' actors are obviously up each others, and the writer's, arse...or are short of cash. Steve Pemberton is losing credibility every minute the show airs.

:( Yes since Jonny Vegas absolute piss poor writing, sooo predictable, so very boring.
A big holiday for all concerned (but they are not).

Not great again. Better than last week but so poor compared to the earlier stuff.

Thought this was going to be the last series?

It's likely to be.

Christmas special then to resolve the cliff hanger, or so the continuity announcer suggested at the end of episode 6

It's likely to be.

Nope. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a314532/benidorm-confirmed-for-fifth-series.html

Indeed. A disappointing development, IMO.

Yeah, it wasn't good this last time.

After the disappointing Christmas Special and knowing of the loss of some of the characters I was worried about series 4, but for me series 4 has been a delight, with Les / Lesley, Liam and Pauline all adding positively to the mix. Even though I would hate to holiday in Benidorm at such a hotel (I think), I do find the programme funny, endearing and very well written and a 'must see'.

If it needed Joan Collins to get writer to agree to a fifth series then so be it, but on the whole I don't think the 'famous' guests add much to the overall mix. On the other hand if you can bring back Johnny Vegas all to the good.

I actually enjoyed the last episode, after a disappointing series.

Not sure about it coming back though, the last episode definitely had a 'final episode' feel about it.
