James Cartoon

Lord knows if anyone except me is going to like this. Anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcBKhVI9Ymg

2nd edit of a cartoon. Any thoughts on the script, timing, voices, music, sound, look, animation, editing and anything else would be, as always, super.

I'll make the final version soon enough. Want to get opinions and take a break 1st.

All the best

Is James the log or the fish? Because a fish isn't inanimate, unless it is when it's dead?

Great animation, designs and voice. The joke is okay. I'm guessing you're going with randomnessness, which is fine. But odd to see in animation, seeing as it can be such a long process. You want to tell the best story ever and make it worth it. But you don't necessarily have to do this, you can do what you want.

In short: Good :)

The fish is dead and nailed to the log. Maybe I should make that clearer (put a cross over the fish's eye, make the nail a brighter colour, that kind of thing).

Yeah, but why? :D

Why not.

There aren't enough logs-with-dead-fish-nailed-into-them characters in British animation these days.

If he is supposed to be cooking a pancake, why is he burning a fish?

Not enough flow of continuity.

The fish is part of James the Inanimate Object. It isn't intentionally burning the fish.

Possibly I need to make this clearer in the animation (not that making it clearer means it'll make anymore sense).
