That poster appears in an episode of Minder. In Terry's flat in Series 2.

Gilbert and George's Naked Shit pictures. Dali.

Probably been mentioned before but I love Dali, Magritte and Roy Liechtenstein.

Also just rediscovering Mucha having just been to Prague last week.

Oh and Jack Vetriano who is of course looked down on by the cognoscenti.

John Constable's Wivenhoe Park, mainly because I used to live there.

For mind boggling greatness Escher is fun.

Escher was always looked down upon by 'serious' critics. It wasn't considered to be real art. So much for critics.

'That can't be a great piece of art Dud'

'Why not Pete?'

'Because Dud, in great art the eyes follow you round the room, and that one's got no eyes, so it can't be a great work of art.'

Don't know how to make it bigger . Errr

I was in the Dali museum just outside Barcelona last summer. It was his house and it's absolutely amazing. It's like stepping into a different world. I'm also a big Magritte fan, I love his painting of himself painting a bird but observing an egg. Escher is great aswell.

Is anyone familiar with a painting of a beach but then we look at the bottom of the painting and see a little boy picking up the corner of the wave and peeping underneath. I always thought it was Dali but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm pretty sure I didn't dream it.
