I prefer empty canvases to a lot of the work hanging in bathrooms.

When it comes to art in bathrooms, you can't beat a bit of Marcel Duchamp...

My, we are a cultured lot. Have lots of favourite pieces or art. Love 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'. Watched the film yesterday and was reminded of how much I dislike the film but love the piece of art. 'Mona Lisa of the North' is a fair accolade.

Similarly I prefer a lot of the art in public washrooms to that hanging in the Tate Modern.

I don't mind the stuff hanging in the Tate Modern, but some of the stuff lying in piles there is more difficult to enjoy.

Wasn't sure whether to post this pic here or in the "weirdest dreams"-thread. ;)

Surely that is Jonah and the Whale?

It's not neccasairly a whale it was described as a leviathan or great beast.

So it could have been a diplodocus as we know dinosaurs lived side by side with man for centuries or INSERT NAME OF FAT CELEBRITY WHOS BEEN DOING A BIT OF SWIMMING

I played Jonah in a play when I was 11 years old.

I wish someone had told me it was a male part. :(

I liked him when he played for Chelsea.
