Paul Page 2

It's an okay comedy flick, clearly a larger American input with some funny bits and sci-fi refences. Just the writing isn't as good as the other Pegg-Frost films and dosnt have the re-play value of the others, but not a lot of films do.

I really didn't like this film. Written by Simon Pegg it may have been a lot better.

I tried watching it twice, but dind't even finish it because I got bored so fast. There are some funny scenes and some good references and Pegg/Frost are walways fun to watch, but overall the jokes and characters are rather flat and stereotypical, and you really feel that Edgar Wright is missing and that this was very much aimed at the American mainstream audience. And last but not least I didn't like Paul. They tried just way too hard to make him funny and likeable that in fact he just got on your nerves really fast. He trierd to be as coll and funny als Alf, but in fact just got on your nerves almost as much as Jar Jar Binks.
