I was looking for some of Rowan's early work but I couldn't find it for the life of me. Can you guys please help out with some titles that you know of. I desperately want to know if they're available on DVD.
Rowan Atkinson Stand Up
This troubles me. However any knowledge of his stand up escapades, be it modern or past, is appreciated. Being in such a colonial wasteland as Australia it has been difficult to find a lot of his work, and whenever I Google 'Rowan Atkinson Stand Up' it always appears with Mr Bean.
To sumamrise any details of his stand up work which is known to be recorded is welcomed with open arms.
Aside from the well-known highlights show, there are a couple of sketches on the Secret Policemans Ball boxset. Nothing else as far as I'm aware.
Has anyone heard any rumors about him doing more stand-up? I would love to see him do shows again.
Actually Rowan Atkinson doesn't do standup, just monologues and sketches (some of which would later become Mr Bean) There is a Live version in DVD and audiotape referred to on Amazon, as well as a Live in Dublin. There's another audiotape called The Best of Live.
