But you don't have to. Unless you want to.

Thanks Leevil... still getting to grips with the forum, it can be quite hard to come on to something this established!
My humour can sometimes be quite dark. I wrote it because I knew that it would entertain some of my friends (some of them wouldn't like it, I wouldn't play it to my nan etc). This is the first time I've put it out to a bunch of random strangers. I knew it would not be well recieved by all!

I flicked the switch, the camera rolled
On the website, this'll be sold
I'm not viscious or malicious
I just find these boys delicious
One bit of critique though, get someone who can sing involved
I agree with Gerry on both counts, I couldn't get through more than about 15 seconds of the singing. Why brothers though? Is it because of your own sensibilities having daughters an' all? Or is it just that people assume victims of paedophilia are more likely to be boys?
Thanks Corey.
I'm not sure, perhaps it's because I wrote it and assumed because of that, a woman would sing it, so made it a boy. There are no reasons behind any of the lyrics, it's something that I bashed out in a couple of days, there is certainly nothing deeper to it!
Well, I enjoyed it neverthless, I don't think people should shy away from dark material, Philip Pullman certainly would agree!
Don't know the song so can't comment, but the content didn't make me laugh. Just me personally, didn't like it. I know you're not making fun of paedophiles and their victims, but I just think some subjects should be left alone. IMHO.
It was never something that was going to appeal to everyone Trollheart, and I knew that by posting it, a lot wouldn't like it, but thanks for posting your opinion.
Corey- glad you 'got' it!

what about the collars?
Can't use collars these days. Something to do with breaching human rights.
Parody songs are almost always tedious and unfunny.
Paedo gags are almost always tedious and unfunny.
Combining the two...?
The really worrying thing is that the lyrics read like something NAMBA (the North American Man/Boy Love Association' - yes, it really does exist) would be quite proud to use as their anthem.

Exactly. Thanks for the assistance, Griff.
I'm all with the sentiment that LU are a bunch of lazy, useless c**ts, but a) I knew that already, and b) I find it tiring to listen to the great song Going Underground being musically and lyrically pissed upon just in order to be told it.
(One of the f**kers who wrote that is a doctor, actually. The c**t. The one thing I used to refuse to be involved in writing during my medical school revue days were the parody songs. Oh sure, I often had to perform in them, but I did so grudgingly.)
