The Life And Times Of Vivienne Vyle Page 10

I liiked it. I didnt squeal with laughter, but it was a warming comedic show. Made me smile. J Saunders is a very talented lady.
I lift my skirt to her.
Well done Mam!

"She's presenting!"

Well I fell asleep watching it this afternoon. I'm afraid that's what old people do on weekend afternoons.

It really isn't that funny though - not for the talent present. It's just like the real thing only - well nothing!

Best thing about that episode was the derision of Slough. Beautiful!

I do actually quite like the little bit she does during the credits, trailing upcoming shows. That's quite funny. It's just a pity about the twenty-nine and a half minutes that proceed it.

I won't be watching this anymore -I am falling asleep-it just not funny-Thursdays are not that funny on BBC2,newsnight is funnier

Newsnight is an if-I-don't-laugh-I'll-cry show. These f**ktards actually RUN OUR COUNTRY. It's thoroughly depressing. :(

Tonight's episode: entertaining, yes. Funny, no.

Yes but you'd lift your skirt for anyone.

Don't get me started... ;)

As long as the socialist Jocks run the country, I'm the one you don't want to start. ;)

I won't be watching it any more either. Its just not funny enough, its supposed to be a sitcom. That five minute monologue by the psychologist just went on and there was no pay-off. They've purposely made the show like this yet still labelled it a sitcom and promoted it as part of 'Thursday's are Funny'.

That was absolutely bizarre. It was well written and well acted but I have no idea why they included it in a sitcom. Now if the show was a one hour comedy drama then that sort of thing could make a lot more sense and the show might not be so bad.

Exactly, it just had no place here.

I'm not sure why this is even a sitcom. By which I mean the whole thing could have been done and dusted in a ninety minute comerdy-drama. Having it on every week is just pointless (and cruel).
