The future in the past.

Ext : Conference Hall

Winston Churchill emerges out of the Conference Hall in a cloud of cigar smoke.

Churchill addresses the press.

"The standard questions. Weapons of Mass Destruction? He tried. We got there first. Regime Change? Most defiantly. Anyway, I'm being knighted and given a state funeral. It'll be the same, I'm sure, for all future Prime Ministers in the same position.

Gets in car and drives away we see large sign outside conference hall.

"The Second World War Enquiry."

Ends

It doesn't read very well, Bigfella, as I assume there's questions being asked that you haven't written into the script. Perhaps? The line about state funerals and being knighted is a little clunky too. The punchline is rather obvious too.

I think there's a good sketch in there, but you need to work on the setup. Come at is, as it were, from a different angle.
