Just Googled to look at his twitter, he calls Sooty a f**kwit! I remember thinking when the pictures were first released for series 1 that the sinister clown thing was a bit cliche; but then, as it turned out, Mr Jelly wasn't a sinister, evil clown at all.
If you want to split hairs (and you're Matthew Stott so of course you want to split hairs) then basically any time a clown pops up in comedy nowadays, whether he be sinister, grumpy, or drunken, it feels like cliche.

I have no idea where anyone - on this thread or otherwise - has stated that anyone else "is a c**t". Please be careful about what you allege, Ben, as there is a world of difference between disagreeing with someone and thinking they are a c**t. Plainly, I disagree with your post, for example.
