Psychoville - Series 2 Page 17

Enjoyed that.

Plenty of opportunities for series 3.

And in my special extra ending, Tealeaf is also in a nice ice bath ready to be brought back at soonest possibility.

:D

You think? I thought it was case closed.

Though does the fact they bumped the final ep to a different day, for a bloody panel show, suggest that the BBC aren't too keen on the show anymore??

Mind you, bringing dead Nazis heads back to life is a bit cliched.

And cool. Reanimated dead Nazis will always be cool.*

*See also the early Hellboy collections.

Once more Sootyj stands alone, oh well.

I just thought there wasn't enough counterpoint for the humour. Although the cremation body swap was pretty clever.

More like a Hammer horror film than anything else.

Well, it is a comedy first and foremost.

I really like Jelly and the old lady as a duo.

Ditto.

Quit martyring yourself. It was a patchy series that had all the ingredients but never really hung together.

Jelly and Ladybird face are fantastic, as are David and MuM.

I think the lack of these pairs is why this episode wasn't as much fun for me as the last ones.

No. Just dodgy scheduling. If they "weren't keen" on Psychoville, they wouldn't have announced the change at the end of half of the recent comedy broadcasts, and would have moved far more than just the final episode.

I liked the good versus evil ending, even though one of the 'good' ones had a dead mother on ice. Jelly was very funny again, some great laughs. I loved the 'Superman' in the church. The girl causing the head to explode didn't fit in all that well, I'd have preferred that to have been Jelly staring him down, but thought it was really enjoyable, best comedy show I've seen in ages.

Jelly and Ladybird were in it quite a lot!
