Psychoville - Series 2

I noticed a excerpt from the new series of Psychoville which appeared just before tonight's Fast and Loose featuring David at Sunnydale. Interesting to see.

The ad where he's climbing a rope?
Have seen it a few times now, must mean it's imminent!

Yes, that's the one.

According to Reece Shearsmith's Twitter feed, the series has been "parked in May".

Parked?
Well as long as it's on some time!

Want nao.

A new web-exclusive clip is on the BBC website.

Love this show. I missed the Halloween thing. I hope they repeat that before they show S2.

The Halloween spesh is on YouTube, IIRC.

I saw pictures of some new characters yesterday. The new Steve Pemberton-as-a-woman looks hilarious, and a new Reece character who I think is called Silent Singer looks absolutely terrifying.
I cannot wait.

Here they are, if you want to see. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/comedy/2011/04/psychoville-characters.shtml

Cannae wait for this!

Only a few weeks until series 2 starts :)

It is a shame that they didn't release the halloween special on DVD/Blu-ray, but I'm wondering whether they might add it to series 2 if that is released after it has aired.

I believe the Halloween special will be an extra on the Series 2 DVD.

Did I read that the Halloween special will be an extra on series 2 AND be released on its own?

I'm sure Reece wrote that on his Twitter, but I might have misunderstood.

I think that is the case.

EDIT: Just found you can pre-order the DVDs. https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/psychoville/buy/

Yes, for some bizarre reason, the Halloween special will be on the Series 2 DVD and released separately later in the year.

And as Ian remembered to check, the DVD and Blu-ray releases of Series 2 are available to pre-order now: https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/psychoville/buy/
