The Jessica Hynes one was awkward, but I enjoyed Jo's alternative choices, but Sean is the best.

Did anyone else notice some dodgy editing in last night's episode. To me that tombola just seemed to appear and vanish on and off.
On the whole however, I really enjoyed this series and hope it gets recommissioned.
Caught this for the first time last night, an enjoyable show but I couldn't really see why it was on for an hour, it seemed to drag a bit and in the end I went to bed before it finished.
I enjoyed the series on the whole. Agree with the earlier comment about Bill Bailey doing a good job as host, and the format offering some great insight into the comics' preferences - at least in the early episodes. In the last couple they didn't seem to talk about their backgrounds and 'comedy education' as much, rather than just their preferences - which, in the case of Hynes, were hardly revealing given the type of comedy she writes and is involved in (Spaced, Lizzie And Sarah). So a little disappointing in that respect.
Best one for me was probably Alan Davies, then Mack, Lock, then Brand and Hynes last.
Lock was eager to have an in depth discussion but Bailey wasn't hooking.

The editing was sloppy throughout to be honest. Really quite unforgivable in places. Great show though. BTW has anyone seen Bill Bailey's Dandelion Mind yet? If so is it any good? Toying with getting it on Play.

I disagree about Jessica Hynes. Why should she constantly talk about her own shows all the time? That's what comedians do on magazine shows all the time anyway. We learnt much more about her comedy likes this way.
You misunderstand me. The other guests talked a little more about what they watched growing up and what influenced them. She talked about the shows she and her friends make now. I did not like that or find it particularly interesting.
I mean, who'd have thought she enjoys the work of Julia Davis? Thrilling revelation...
She talked about Norman Wisdom didn't she?
Or was that one of the others.
