I can't believe I'm the only person who misses Cheryl.

I can!

Thanks for that Michael B. I'd naturally assumed this'd be on Sky Atlantic, so thanks for the head's up. Goooood news.

The last episode capped off a vintage season of Curb.

Fair play to Michael J Fox.

Leon: Michael J. Fox bout to be Michael J. f**ked up in a minute.

Laughing out loud

I found season 8 to be quite surreal. I missed a season or two, so I have no idea why Larry is divorced and shacked up with a homeboy.

agreed! what a line.

I also thought the little boy was hilarious.

Back in two shakes

This season was on a par with previous ones, but starting to get the feeling Leon shouldn't be there now. As good as the character was in 'The Blacks' season Leon being in NY was a bit tenuous.

Nah, Leon has kept the show fresh. His one liners have been highlights of the season.

I agree that having Leon still be part of Larry's life is a logical stretch but you just can't beat the relationship they have for laughs.

Just finished up the last episode; not a classic but solid stuff. Though I slightly wish they'd played up the J Fox is a bastard thing a bit more, because that could have been really funny.

Overall I think it's been a great series; I feared a big slump after the supreme Seinfeld season, but it's managed to remain strong.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long until season 9.

Well, I've just seen #1 of the new series go out on More4.

What a major disappointment. It pains me to say this but that has got to be the weakest ever Curb. It all felt extremely forced and the overall tone was different. (Some of it was like watching an episode of Seinfeld.) I hope this is just a minor blip.

It is just a temporary blip Michael, episode 2 is hilarious.

No bad thing.

Yeah, I seem to remember loving one of the first episodes of this series. I felt it dipped though, until the last episode which I quite enjoyed.
