Curb your Enthusiasm Season 8

Anyone know when this is starting? Some of it's been filmed in NY with cameos from Ricky Gervais, Michael J Fox and Rosie O'Donnell but it only says in 2011.

I can't wait for the new series, Love CYE!

Although if I recall correctly the interview Gervais does with him was a bit strained (or did I imagine that?)I guess they've patched things up since then.

Sure you're not thinking of the Gervais interview with Garry Shandling? That was very awkward. I thought he got on quite well with LD.

That's the one, Garry Shandling was an arse. Shame actually, I loved the show, and I'd have thought Gervais would be a good interviewer, but Shandling doesn't like to share the limelight.

Shandling's great. I love Gervais but it was fun watching Shandling rebuff and crush him.

It was plain odd, but fascinating.

As for this, looking forward to it, but I can't see how it'll beat the Seinfeld season! I saw an advert for it and the selling point this year seems to be that he's in New York; which isn't that enticing. Sure it'll be great, though.

I hope Wanda will be on the cast list. I love her.

That is a Brilliant trailer.

Wasn't the last episode the Seinfeld special? It'll be intersting to see how they take it from there.

I hope the Blacks turn up too.

Agree. Love Wanda too. She's in it and so is Susie and Leon who are both brilliant.

Or they're both trying to share the limelight and Garry comes out on top. It was interesting that he asked Gervais' about his uncomfortable gags in Extras. Garry was acting like an arse to make him feel uncomfortable.

Shandling is the only person I've ever seen ask Gervais difficult questions. Everybody else fawns over him like a giggling schoolgirl. And considering how few interviews Shandling does I don't think you could call him a Limelight Hog. If anything, he seems to shy away from it.

Can't wait for this, as Curb is probably my favourite comedy series which I watch over and over. Other than Klovn (the Danish copy of this show), I'm trying to find something with a similar feel to Curb, does anyone know any which might be similar?

Thanks
