Oh.
Watching Burnistoun Series 2 has reminded me of this very excellent first series sketch:
Dan
A few faves
Smith & Jones - Lighthouse keepers

A bit of fry & Laurie - Mr Nippl:e

The first time I saw that sketch and Fry smacks him over the head with the cricket bat I nearly fouled myself laughing
Big Train - cartoonist
My favourite Python sketch is a bit of a throwaway one, definitely not a famous or quoted one, but it still cracks me up just thinking about it. Palin on a bicycle dressed like a complete cycling nerd, with a big happy grin on his stupid face, then he goes down a steep hill and straight through a hedge. Told you didn't I. Oh sorry but I can't do links due to being IT clueless.

I love the French and Saunders sketch where Dawn is explaining sex to Jennifer. I also love the "Modern Mother and Daughter" sketch (that "Absolutely Fabulous" is based on) and the "Mamma Mia" parody - among many others of theirs.
I love Rik and Ade's "Dangerous Brothers" sketch - particularly the one where Rik is goinbg to shoot Ade out of a cannon.
