Something a bit different this time, readers: visual humour, but not of the televisual kind. I am trying to get my self-created newspaper comic-strip off the ground. I have produced a great many of these tiny strips, and the following is but a sample: it's surreal and silly, and this method I have used is probably the only way you will get total freedom as a strip-cartoonist, by creating your own material from scratch.
A notoriously difficult market to break however, with many other punters trying to come up with the next 'FAR SIDE' or 'Hagar the Horrible'. Here's the good news though: Charles Schulz earned a staggering 30 million bucks a year through his 'Peanuts/Charlie Brown' strip, or at least at the peak of his earning powers [through licensing Snoopy for T-shirts, soft toys, etc].
If I could merely earn a liveable wage doing this, I'd be happy enough, though if megabucks happen, it would come in handier still.
Enjoi!!!

I would have preferred to paste the strips directly onto this page, but alas this option was not forthcoming......
