Sitcoms About Education

How many are there?

Please Sir!
Mind Your Language
Bonjour la Classe
Teachers
The Inbetweeners

Are there any others? Does anybody care??

Chalk (bloody awful, but I was in the audience for the pilot)

Saved By the Bell

The Facts of Life (not a lot of education, apart from the homespun wisdom from the big maid off Diff'rent Strokes)

Chalk (bloody awful)

Bah!

The Fenn Street Gang
Campus
Hardwicke House

Undeclared.

Community.

I suppose Just William has about as much to do with education as The Inbetweeners.

Off The Hook

Thanks for the interesting replies.

I suppose 'The Young Ones' qualifies if we stretch the term 'about education' to include the fact they were supposed to be students.

I've just remembered 'Whacko!'...though I've never watched it.

Can you count the Paedophile episode of Brass Eye

Nope.

I didn't think so. But the list looked pretty comprehensive

Hang Time

USA High

City Guys

(Each one a classic.)

For some reason your list made the words....

"Welcome Back, Kotter"

....pop into my head.

I loved the Facts of Life and Diff'rent Strokes, I know all the words to the theme tunes.

Billy Connolly was in Head of the Class.

Hanging with Mr Cooper was about a teacher IIRC.
