No, I don't think she should be allowed to ever do anything else.
Or maybe the odd other thing now and then, but ALWAYS MAKING MORE MIRANDA.

Now she's gone from Call The Midwife too...pooey.
Really enjoyed the final.
Enjoyed it, but PLEASE have someone on set next series with a gun who will point it at the audience whenever they threaten to go 'WooooOOOO..!' at a romantic bit.
Much better.
More of Miranda in the 'real' world - that's when it works best.
The fart joke was unnecessary. Otherwise a good finale.

Agreed

I feel I should inform you, Gordon, that fart jokes are never un-necessary.

I LOVED the fart joke.

It is a bit annoying, but then I involuntarily shouted yay when Gary knelt down to propose, so I can't really complain.
My favourite Miranda fart joke was in that flashback when we see her in that aerobic class trying to impress a handsome bloke...THAT wasn't un-necessary.
I also liked it when Gary burped just as they were about to kiss.
Burping is a slightly different thing imo...it can indicate lack of interest. For example you express your feelings to someone and he/she burps can mean he/she doesn't give toss about what you're about to say.
Farting is always an accident.

That's creative decision by the producers, I'm afraid.
They could easily ratchet down the sound of the audience if they wanted to.
Or, at a pinch, do a re-take without sound.
I loathe it.

Not round here it isn't.
It's a badge of honour.
