Chip was lying behind me on my chair, then suddenly jumped. He looked around down towards the floor in front of me, not moving, and examined the area. Then, slowly, he jumped down from the back of the chair and crept very, very slowly and nervously, forwards...
I have no idea what he saw, but he's bloody spooked now.
