Well, you can now put down "carrying shit", at least! Mine starts with a quote; and I'm quite pleased with my selection of that at least. When you've done yours, we can swap?

A quote from whom?

I'm trying to rally the troops for Rocky Horror now! :D

Why does that make me think of Kevin Bishop's 28 Gays Later sketch?

It's Alan Bennett, from "The History Boys"; but it's actually perfectly fitting!

I'm home yesss

You might do, but considering how scantily clad I might end up this year, possibly not.

"The best moments in reading are when you come across something — a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things — that you'd thought special, particular to you. And here it is, set down by someone else, a person you've never met, maybe even someone long dead. And it's as if a hand has come out, and taken yours."

But isn't this perfectly fitting?: "The best moments in reading are when you come across something — a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things — that you'd thought special, particular to you. And here it is, set down by someone else, a person you've never met, maybe even someone long dead. And it's as if a hand has come out, and taken yours."

I've seen the movie and I remembered that quote, vaguely. I went to Wikiquote and realised it must've been what you were talking about. So, smarts.

Very smarts! It is such a good quote for the direction I attempted to kind of take my statement in. I didn't exactly succeed, but...

I'm not sure how viable opening with a quote is. I remember someone saying something about opening with a quote, but I don't know whether it was good or bad.
