I thought my aunty and uncle lived in a castle till I was about 8!
It was a HUGE house with turrets and stuff. But it was shared between different generations/branches of the family. I think everyone in the area had that living arrangement.

Castrop-Rauxel, I believe. From what I could deduct from his comments so far he seems to think that Germany is some sort of medieval marshland where everyone lives in castles and reads Fix und Foxy. Which is quite an accurate description.

My family are possibly from Germany. A number of generations back. No idea if they lived in castles or what though.
