I don't care that it's my fault! :P I feel at least like I have had some influence, however negative! Laughing out loud

It's not negative! I just got odd looks from the rest of the class :P

You should read Atonement! See, if I were in your class then the teacher and I could just discuss lots of books, and you lot can just go on about sexual subtext! :D

Hey! I said the class were like that, not me!

I will read Atonement for English now. And fine, you can join my English class then...

Odd looks=good, though? Not sure where I was going with that one...

Laughing out loud I just keep making your reading list longer and longer! I don't think your class would be amused at me being there-they'd probably get annoyed of me spoiling books for them in my misplaced enthusiasm.

Get a room!

Yep. I just wanted you to know :P

Yeah but I can read this in English class. Much easier.

I don't want to have a proper English class anymore! I got told to annotate the synoptic practice paper we were given seeing as I won't be in tomorrow-but it took about an hour and a half to do! I probably wrote more than they will, and got through more of it, but it was scary! Plus, it was on Gothic Literature which would've been perfect because of our coursework setting precedent, but seeing as it was only this June's paper-it won't come up again! :(

They're actually making you work!? The bastards! Every teacher today said that it sucked that we were back in school.

Well we were meant to have a 20 minute registration this morning, but none of the tutors knew, so we ended up sat outside our classroom, discussing personal statements in an assumedly informed way. We were making it up as we went along, but the teachers walking past didn't seem to realise-and then we had only an hour and 40 left of the lesson-so it was okay. Especially seeing as I only had double private studies and a free next because Spanish doesn't start until tomorrow.

What's the difference between 'private studies' and a free period? Also you have two hour long periods? Doesn't that bore you to death?

Well we only have one our periods, but it goes period, period, break, period, period, lunch, period-so we always get doubles of one subject when we have two periods in a row. More often than not though, we switch teachers between the periods.
In private studies we have to stay in school and work in W1-the sixth form library.

So all of the morning and afternoon periods are doubles? You essentially have 3 classes a day?

Yep. Like on Friday it's double biology, double history, English lit.

Your school is very very gay.

Oh. Same time table as us then. Except there'd be a huge amount of pissed off students if they made us do two hours of the same subject. Private studies sounds spectacularly pointless :P

We don't have free periods, apparently "they're study periods."

Why? It's the same subjects in doubles but not always the same topics. Like on Friday, again, it'll be photosynthesis, ecosystems, individual assignment, Weimar, Dracula.

It's quite good, though, because there's a teacher in the room with us so that we can ask about anything we need to.
We have "study periods", too, but they don't work!
My head of sixth form was very odd today...

My Friday will be: Mess around in library, mess around in history department, political philosophy, poverty in Britain, home-time! Yay! Half-day! :P
